- Choose the service level (Economy, Regular, Express, Super Express, etc.).
- Add the cards in this submission - you can add multiple cards to a single submission.

- Card description (player, year, set, card number).
- Declared value.

Submission Fields
- Grading Company - PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, HGA, TAG, ISA, etc.
- Service Level - The turnaround tier you selected.
- Submission Number - The grading company's order/reference number.
- Cards - Individual cards in this submission with details.
- Service Fee - The per-card grading fee.
- Shipping Cost - What you paid to ship the cards to the grading company.
- Return Shipping - Cost for them to ship graded cards back to you.
- Declared Value - The total declared value of the submission.
- Insurance - Any additional insurance purchased.
Tracking Submission Status
Submissions move through a clear pipeline:
- Preparing - You're getting the cards ready to send (sleeving, filling out forms).
- Shipped - Cards are in transit to the grading company.
- Received - Grading company has received your submission.
- Grading - Cards are in the grading queue or being graded.
- Graded - Grades have been assigned, cards are being prepared for return.
- Returned - Cards are back in your hands.
Update the status as you get notifications from the grading company. Add tracking numbers for both outbound and return shipments.
Most grading companies send email updates when your submission moves to a new stage. Update the status in the app when you get those notifications to keep everything in sync.
Recording Grades and Cert Numbers
Once your cards come back graded:
- Open the submission and click Record Grades.
- For each card, enter:
- The grade received (e.g., PSA 10, BGS 9.5, SGC 10).
- The certification number (the unique number on the slab label).
- Save the results.
If you want, you can automatically add the graded card to your inventory from here - it creates a new inventory item with the grade and cert number pre-filled.
Tracking Costs
The grading section tracks all costs associated with each submission:
- Service fees - Per-card grading fees (varies by service level and declared value).
- Outbound shipping - What you paid to ship to the grading company.
- Return shipping - What the grading company charges to ship back.
- Declared value / Insurance - Protection costs.
- Total cost - Automatically calculated sum of all fees.
Cost tracking helps you calculate whether grading was profitable. Compare the grading cost against the value increase from having a graded card vs. raw.
Viewing Grading History
The main Grading page shows all your submissions with their current status. You can:
- Filter by grading company.
- Filter by status (to see what's in transit, what's being graded, etc.).
- Sort by date submitted or date returned.
- View total cards submitted and total costs across all submissions.
- See your grade distribution (how many 10s, 9s, etc. you've gotten).
